Sample Design

Impossible Space

"Impossible Space" - This image was created as an experimental project, which we used to test some of the lighting effects and distorting filters available in Photoshop. We created the planet (an impossible, purple version of earth) from an image of a flat map by applying a filter to create the sphere, then applying several layers of shading and highlights in order to add the illusion of depth.

Sample Illustration

Rhonwen

"Rhonwen" - This is a design for a character who is slated to be the heroine in a future graphic novel. The two key features of this illustration are her pendant and her blonde hair (which is more obvious in the colour version), both of which are expected to figure into the story.

The detail in the line work is minimal, as greater detail was to be added with the colouring.
